It is said that the Iddat of a woman is three haidh cycles. From when does her Iddat begin if she was divorced during a clean period?
Answer
The Iddat of a divorced woman is full three haidh cycles. If she was divorced during the state of Tuhr (Paaki – the clean period), then whilst her Iddat begins immediately, she still has to wait and be in Iddat until the end of the third haidh cycle.
