22 December 2023 articles “Allah is the Friend of the Mu‟mineen.” “There is no aid but from Allah, The Mighty, The Wise” (Qur‟aan) Gross Imaani deficiency which is the consequence of sin and transgression, induces Muslims to look askance at the enemies of Allah Ta‟ala for succour and assistance. Hamas has been consorting with Shiah Hezbollah (Hizbush Shaitaan) and Shiah Iran. While this consortium is understandable, since all Muslim countries have for- saken the Palestinian Mus- lims, it is in reality a collusion with shaitaan. It is on account of defective Imaan that Hamas and all oth- er Jihaadi outfits fail to under- stand the reality of Allah‟s Nusrat. The Qur‟aan Majeed states: “Allah is the Friend of the Muttaqeen…..The victori- ous end is for the Mut- taqeen.” Since there is no val- id concept of Taqwa nowa- days in Muslims, the meaning of Allah Ta‟ala being the Friend of the people of Ta- qwa remains incomprehensi- ble. These Qur‟aanic Aayaat have been antiquated by Mus- lims. That is why Hamas searches for aid from the Shiahs, but Shiah aid is not forthcoming in a meaningful manner. Although Iran, Hezbollah and other kuffaar entities clamour vociferously in fa- vour of Hamas, making ver- bal promises which they mis- erably fail to honour, Hamas and Muslims in general re- main blind and fail to under- stand that aid is not forthcom- ing from these kuffaar ene- mies of Islam. While Hamas is desperate for such aid which could in a matter of days change the tide and clear the skies of the Israeli airforce which is so cowardly perpetrating mass murder and genocide of the Palestinian Muslims, the sup- posed ally of Hamas, i.e.Iran, refuses to provide the neces- sary weapons for sealing the fate of the Israeli airforce. Why does Iran, this „friend‟ and „ally‟ of Hamas refuse to provide the requisite mis- siles and anti-aircraft wea- ponry to enable Hamas to clear the sky? Iran, despite having these missiles which Hamas so much requires, refuses to aid its „friend‟. Iran, like all other munaafiq mongrels of the Muslim countries, remains an idle spectator to the destruc- tion of Gaza, and nothing else should be expected of the Shiahs. The question is: Despite vigorously professing to be the ally of Hamas, and despite observing the massacre and genocide being perpetrated by the Yahood, and despite Iran claiming to be the ene- my of Israel, why is this Shi- ah state refusing to arm Ha- mas with the requisite weap- ons to knock out the Israeli planes from the skies? Is Iran part of the U.S.-Israeli con- spiracy? And, this question is not solely for Iran. It applies to Turkey and Pakistan as well. (Continued on page 21) BULLETIN No. 69 Jumadal Ukhra 1445 / December 2023 PO BOX 3393 - PORT ELIZABETH - 6056 - SOUTH AFRICA STRIKING BAATIL “In reality, We (Allah) strike baatil (falsehood) with the Haq. It then smashes out the brains of baatil. And, lo, it (baatil) suddenly disap- pears.” (Qur’aan) THE BAND OF HAQ “There will ever remain a band from my Ummah fighting on the Haq until the Day of Qiyaamah. Those who oppose them and those who do not aid them, will not be able to harm them.” (Hadith) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 2 During the Muslim uprising of 1857, a Buzrug was sitting with his mureeds in the Mus- jid when they heard the sound of horses passing by. The Buzrug went to the window to look. After a while he came back and sat down. When the mureedeen queried about the horses, the Buzrug explained that a British cavalry had passed by and that Khidhr (alayhis salaam) was with them. The Buzrug perplexed and surprised had asked Ha- dhrat Khidhr (Alayhis salaam) to explain his presence in the British cavalry. Hadhrat Khidhr (Alayhis salaam) said: “It is the Decree of Allah Ta‟ala.” In another similar episode, it was seen that a well-known Aalim/Wali was abandoning the battlefield. Flight from the battlefield is akin to kufr. When he was questioned about his flight from the bat- tlefield, he said: “What can I do? I see Khidhr (Alayhis sa- laam) fighting on their side (i.e. the British kuffaar).” Thus, he was convinced that there will be no victory for Muslims. The presence of Ha- dhrat Khidhr (Alayhis salaam) fighting alongside the kuffaar indicated with certitude that Allah Ta‟ala had decreed pun- ishment for the grossly diso- bedient and rebellious Mus- lims who had practically aban- doned the Deen. “Allah does as He wills.” (Qur‟aan) It was the Decree of Allah Az- za Wa Jal. He does as He wills. Muslims who rebel against Allah Azza Wa Jal will not escape His Wrath. It is of the Ways of Allah Ta‟ala to punish evil Muslims with kuffaar domination and op- pression just as He punishes with floods, earthquakes, drought, famine, pestilence, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, etc. Every act of oppression on Muslims by the kuffaar is by the decree of Allah Azza Wa Jal. Without the permission and decree of Allah Azza Wa Jal, not an atom can move, not an ant can move, not a seed can grow. Regarding kuffaar zulm (oppression and brutali- ty), the Qur‟aan Majeed states: “O Bani Israaeel!... Remem- ber when We saved you from the nation of Fir‟oun. They inflicted on you the worst of punishment. They slaugh- tered your sons and left alive your womenfolk. Indeed in this (zulm) was a great trial (for you) from your Rabb.” (Al-Baqarah, Aayat 49) “And, remember when We saved you (O Bani Israaeel!) from the nation of Fir‟oun. They (mercilessly) slaughtered your sons and left alive your womenfolk. Indeed, in this (zulm) was a great trial from your Rabb.” (Al-A‟raaf, Aayat 141) “Remember when Musaa said to his people: „Remember the bounties of Allah on you (especially) when He saved you from the people of Fir‟oun. They inflicted on you horrendous punishment. They slaughtered your sons and left alive your womenfolk. Indeed, in this (zulm) was a great trial from your Rabb.” (Ibraaheem, Aayat 6) Now understand in the light of the Qur‟aan and Hadith the Israeli oppression in Palestine, the Hindu oppression in India and Kashmir, the Buddhist op- pression in Burma, and wher- ever else there happens to be oppression on Muslims. It is all a punishment from Allah Azza Wa Jal. Therefore, focus on rectifying and restoring the bond with Allah Ta‟ala. Do not allow Iblees to divert your focus from your misdeeds. The satanic objective for such de- flection of focus is to ensure that Muslims remain oblivious of Allah Ta‟ala. Trials, great and small and from any quarter, are by the decree of Allah Azza Wa Jal. The one and only solution for extrication from the yoke of the misery of kuffaar domina- tion and oppression is to turn unto Allah Ta‟ala with Taubah (repentance), Itaa-at (Obedience) and Ibaadat (worship). AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 3 When Imaam Muhammad Shaibaani (rahmatullah alayh) desired to be admitted to the Madrasah of Imaam Abu Hanifah (rahmatullah alayh), he (Imaam Abu Hanifah) in- structed him to first make Hifz of the Qur'aan. This was Imaam Abu Hanifah's condi- tion for admission. Imaam Muhammad who is the second highest ranking Mujtahid of the Hanafi Math-hab after Imaam Abu Hanifah, went away and commenced making hifz. He completed his hifz in seven days. On the eighth day, he was admitted to the Mad- rasah. The condition stipulated by Imaam Abu Hanifah (rahmatullah alayh) for pursu- ing higher knowledge of the Deen was Hifzul Qur'aan. Every branch of Islamic knowledge rises from the Fountain of Ilm, viz., the Qur'aan Majeed. But today in this era of villainy, we find the ilk of the NNB Jamiat of Fordsburg stipulating the kufr matric certificate as a precon- dition for admission to their 'madrasah' ostensibly impart- ing higher knowledge of the Deen. Here in South Africa there is a mock „madrasah‟ operat- ed by a cartel of mudhilleen molvis of the NNB Clique (No Name Brand juhala). The NNB juhala have stipulated that the primary condition for admission to their „madrasah‟ is the kuffaar‟s secular educa- tion matric certificate. In so doing, these vile molvis have made the Qur‟aan Majeed subservient to shaitaani edu- cation. Minus the devil‟s qualification, it is haraam ac- cording to the NNB Clique to be admitted to their „madrasah‟. Imaam Abu Hanifah (Rahmatullah alayh) had stip- ulated the condition of Hifz for admission to his Madras- ah. But these rascal molvis in pursuit of worldly objectives have made the Qur‟aan Majeed the handmaid of kuffaar education. Thus, have they confirmed that they are among the evil signs of Qiyaamah. It is mentioned in the Had- ith that among the signs of the Impending Hour is that the Knowledge of the Deen will be acquired to attain worldly goals. IN EGYPT during the brutal reign of repression and tyran- ny of Ahmad Bin Tuloon, an Aalim of the Haqq, Hadhrat Abul Hasan Bunaan Bin Mu- hammad Bin Sa'd (rahmatullah alayh), went to confront this tyrannical ruler. When he proclaimed the Truth and admonished the ruler for his cruelty and oppression, Ibn Tuloon became enraged. He ordered the arrest of Hadhrat Abul Hasan who was thrown into a dungeon. Thereafter Ibn Tuloon ordered that he be fed to a hungry lion. The occasion was an- nounced to the public. The ap- pointed day arrived. A huge crowd had gathered in the are- na to observe the lion devour- ing Hadhrat Abul Hasan (rahmatullah alayh). A huge lion was held hungry in cap- tivity for a few days. Hadhrat Abul Hasan was brought in chains and pushed into the centre of the arena, and the cage was opened. The lion leaping from the cage went straight to the prey. However, when the lion reached Hadhrat Abul Hasan, he displayed an uncanny timidity and began smelling him. Then the lion went and stood wagging its tail at a distance. Spontaneously from the crowd came loud cries of Laailaaha il lallaah Allahu Akbar! Ibn Tuloon who was present was thus humiliated. He issued instructions for Ha- dhrat Abul Hasan to be re- leased with honour and be treated with respect. He had realized that he had no power to thwart the Order of Allah Azza Wa Jal. When some of Hadhrat Abul Hasan's close associates asked him about his condition at the time when the lion was running towards him, he said: “I was wondering about the mas'alah of the saliva of wild animals. Is the lion's saliva taahir (pure) or najis (impure)?” AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 4 When Qaadhi Muhammad Fanaazi (rahmatullah alayh) learnt of the narration in which it is mentioned that the earth does not devour the bodies of Ulama Ba Amal (Ulama who practise accord- ing to their Knowledge), he developed a strong urge to ascertain this fact. He dug open the grave of his Ustaadh, Hadhrat Alaauddeen Aswad (rahmatullah alayh) who had died many years ago. He was astonished to find the body of his Ustaadh fresh and in- tact. Suddenly he heard a Voice proclaiming: " You have now ascertained the fact. May Allah snatch away your vision." Thus he be- came blind. He remained blind for a considerable time. After making much dua, Allah Ta'ala restored his sight. In gratitude he under- took a journey for Hajj. During the Khilaafate of Ha- dhrat Umar (radhiyallahu an- hu), when the Muslim army conquered Tastar, they found in a vault of the ruler, Har- muzaan, a human body on a table. By his headside was a kitaab. The Commander of the army sent the kitaab to Hadhrat Umar (radhiyallahu anhu). He called Hadhrat Ka'b Ahbaar to translate the kitaab in which many future events were predicted. The body was of Nabi Daanyaal (alayhis salaam). Even after many centuries had lapsed, the body was fresh and in- tact. Hadhrat Umar (radhiyallahu anhu) issued instructions to bury the body of Nabi Daanyaal (alayhis salaam). He also ordered that the Qabr be concealed. During the daytime, the Sa- haabah had dug thirteen graves, and during the night they buried Nabi Daanyaal (alayhis salaam) in one of the graves. All the graves were filled and flattened so that no one would know where Nabi Daanyaal (alayhis salaam) was buried. The reason for this measure was the custom of the people to make dua for rain by the body of Nabi Daanyaal (alayhis salaam). After Hadhrat Nabi Nooh (alayhis salaam) and his small band of Muslims had embarked on the Ship, it be- gan sailing. Mountainous waves began buffeting and tossing the ship. The water started boiling and the tar holding the timber began melting. As water began to rush into the Ship, Allah Az- za Wa Jal revealed to Nabi Nooh (alayhis salaam) one of His Beautiful Name, and instructed him to recite it. As soon as he had recited the Ism of Allah Ta‟ala, the tar solidified by the barkat of the Name. In the language of Nabi Nooh (alayhis salaam), the Ism was Ahyan- Ashraahiyan which is the equivalent of Ya Hayyo- Yaqayyoomo (O Thou The Eternal – The Self- Subsisting). This Name of Allah Ta‟ala also appears in the Tauraah. A drowning person reciting this blessed Name will be saved. When Hadhrat Nabi Ib- raaheem (alayhis salaam) was cast into the fire, Allah Ta‟ala revealed this Name to him. Thus the fire became cool and peaceful. When Nabi Ibraaheem (alayhis salaam) left Haaji- rah (alayhas salaam) and the infant, Nabi Ismaaeel (alayhis salaam) alone in the barren desert of Makkah, he taught her this Name of Al- lah Ta‟ala. When extreme thirst and hardship overtook the mother and the infant, she supplicated to Allah Ta‟ala with this Name. Thus the Zam Zam water began gushing from the ground. AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 5 A Brother from the U.K. la- ments: “In UK many Madaris closed for two days due to the kuffar telling them there was a “heat wave.” If there was no propaganda, or no way of de- termining the temperature, most people would not even realise that it was 37 degrees celsius. Most schools did not close, businesses continued as nor- mal and these munafiqeen committee members and Ula- ma-e-Soo have all taken their children to hotter countries for longer than two days to “enjoy the sun.” I have said for some time that almost all men in the Um- mah today are Dayuths. They should all be in niqab and dresses. Their pathetic spine- less excuses are nauseating. There is no comprehension that Deeni education is more important than food and water. If a person dies of thirst or hunger, they will not go to Ja- hannam. If they die without Imaan, due to a daily effort being neglected, when they were children, their abode will be Jahannam. I have written to you before regarding closing Madrassahs because of snow and covid. Now it‟s heat. Is it time for conscientious parents to withdraw their chil- dren from Madrassah and teach them at home, or send them to a Molvi‟s house to learn? My rationale is that we need to create men and women of this Ummah with a backbone. With these spineless molvis and effeminate committee members running these Madaaris, what chance of Tarbiyah is there? What message are we send- ing to children when schools, businesses and all other facets of life remain open in order to chase the Dunya, but we close the Madaaris? Naturally, such a child will think Deeni educa- tion is unimportant. I am not a good Muslim my- self, but pillaging the inno- cence of children by exposing them to secular schools and closing the Madaaris is uncon- scionable. Is it correct therefore that conscientious parents should remove their children from such Madrassahs, because all I envisage is more fitnah mani- festing itself in coming years? Snow, Covid, heat etc. Allah knows best what these Munaf- iqs will conjure up next.” (End of the Brother‟s nasee- hat) Yes, you are correct. If a parent is able to arrange for his children to be taught the Deen at home or by a Mau- lana in a homely environment, then it is necessary to do so. The molvis who closed the madaaris because of the „heat‟ whilst all other facets of life continued as usual, are the agents of shaitaan. Instead of guarding the Deen, they are its destroyers. These molvis had even closed the Musaajid, abolished the Fardh Salaat in the Musaajid. There- fore closing the Madaaris for no valid reason, is an act of no significance for them. The greatest harm to the Deen has been caused by the- se bootlicking molvis whose objective in life is only mon- etary and nafsaani goals. They are an evil which was predicted by Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam). They are signs of Qiyaamah. No amount of naseehat will benefit them. They spread fitnah and fasaad in the Um- mah. Hadhrat Amr Bin Aas (radhiyallahu anhu), the Con- queror of Egypt, had pitched a large tent in close proximity to enemy fortifications which he had besieged. The pro- longed siege endured for six months. When it was time to depart, he decided to disman- tle his huge tent. But before the work of dismantling the tent commenced, he observed that a bird had constructed its nest inside the tent, and was sitting on eggs. He comment- ed: "This bird has taken refuge in our tent." He issued instruc- tions to leave the tent intact until the eggs were hatched and the chicks strong enough to fly away. This was the ef- fect of the mercy which is in- tegral to a perfect Imaan. AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 6 By Mufti Muhammad Aashiq Ilaahi Muhajir Madani (Rahmatullah alayh) (Bosom friendship is termed muwaalaat) Muslims Are Commanded Not To Befriend The Kuffaar “The Mu‟minoon should not take the Kaafireen as friends in preference to the Mu‟mi- neen. Whoever does so has no relationship with Allah, ex- cept that you have to protect yourselves from them. Allah warns you to beware of Him (of His Athaab), and unto Him is the Return.” (Aal Imraan, Aayat 28) This verse (as well as many other aayaat) clearly prohibit friendship with the kuffaar. The perpetrator of this act (of muwaalaat – friendship with the kuffaar) is warned of sev- ering all ties with Allah. "Ma‟aalimut Tanzeel" (Vol.1, Pg.291) reports from Hadhrat Ibn Abbaas (R.A.) that this verse was revealed with regard to Abdullaah bin Ubayy and his fellow hypocrites. They used to befriend the idolaters and Jews, passing information on to them concerning the Muslims with the hope that the kuffaar would eventually over- come the Muslims. Thus, the verse was revealed to warn Muslims not to emulate this practice. It is also narrated from Ha- dhrat lbn Abbaas (Radhiyallahu anhu) that some Jews befriended some persons of the Ansaar with the objec- tive of displacing them from Islam. Although many other Muslims warned them of this ploy, they ignored the advice and continued their friendship. Eventually this verse was re- vealed. Other verses of the Qur'aan also prohibit the be- friending of kuffaar. Allah says in Surah Mumtahi- nah, "O you who believe, choose not My enemy and your enemy as friends, passing on messag- es of friendship to them when they disbelieve in that truth which has come to you. They exile you and the Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wa-sallam) only because you believe in Allah and His Messenger. When you fight in My way, seeking My pleasure, you se- cretly send messages of friend- ship to them. I am best aware of all that you hide and all that you reveal. Whoever from you does so, then he has definitely strayed from the right path. If they ev- er gain the upper hand over you they shall be your foes and will stretch out their arms and tongues to you with evil intent, and they long for you to disbe- lieve. " [Surah 60, verses 1 and 2] The Consequences Of Be- friending The Kuffaar Nowadays Muslims are totally oblivious of the prohibition stated in these verses and con- tinue preferring kuffaar as friends over other Muslims. Ignoring their personal wel- fare, they give precedence to their worldly benefits and do not even consider befriending Muslims. Some Muslims even become informants to kuffaar nations. It is indeed sad that Muslims have mutual enmity between themselves, but friendship with the kuffaar. This tragic state of affairs has made the Muslim countries puppets of the kuffaar. To attain the academic de- grees of the kuffaar, some Muslim "scholars" write vari- ous theses, the topics of which are selected by their kaafir seniors. Such topics are chosen whereby the unassuming Mus- lim is made to disclose the in- nermost secrets of Islam which include those of Muslim insti- tutes and establishments. The- se people are, in reality, trai- tors to Islam and friends of the kuffaar. Some people consider this Qur'aanic prohibition to be against etiquette and good so- cial conduct. (Thus they preach the kufr interfaith ide- ology for so-called harmo- ny and co-existence –Al Haq). Healthy social conduct and heart-felt friendships are two different concepts. When there exists a heart-felt friend- ship with the kuffaar, then a Muslim will even betray the secrets and functions of the Muslims to their kaafir adver- saries. Imaan demands that one reserves earnest and bos- om companionship only for Muslims. (Continued on page 7) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 7 Even people who appear to be pious find this injunction of the Qur'aan difficult to accept. Thus they indicate that their submission to Allaah is not sincere. (Kufr lurks in their hearts –Al Haq) Numerous factions and dif- ferences exist among the Mus- lims. Sometimes these are re- lated to nationality, sometimes to language and sometimes to other factors. Putting aside the demands of their Imaan, these Muslims choose rather to ac- cede to the dictates of kufr and align with the kuffaar (to achieve their worldly and nafsaani goals regardless of becoming enemies of Muslims and betraying them to the kuffaar –Al Haq). Matters have reached such a low ebb (of disgust and kufr- Al Haq) that certain Muslim states even construct places of worship for the kuffaar and forgo their own Salaah for the sake of maintaining ties with them. (Today, the worst devils in this regard are the Ameri- ca‟s backyard Gulf States. To bootlick the Hindu mush- rikeen, temples of idolatry are built where even some miserable sheikhs of these miserable fiefdoms worship – Al Haq). They also participate in the ceremonies of these kuffaar and even exchange gifts with them on these occasions. This state of affairs has stripped the Muslims of their status. Thinking that they may bene- fit, Muslims are indeed de- ceiving themselves because what appears to be beneficial to them actually conceals harm within. Allah says in a verse of Surah Imraan: “O you who believe, take not as confidants any besides your own (Muslims) for they spare no opportunity to harm you." [Surah 3, verse 118] The kuffaar wish only harm for the Muslims and desire that the territories of the Muslims become theirs so that the Mus- lims bow at their feet. (Bootlicking the kuffaar has now become an embedded dis- ease in Muslims all over the world –Al Haq). They wish to render the Muslims totally in- capable of resistance. (This goal has been achieved by the kuffaar – Al Haq) “...in preference to believ- ers…” This statement should not be misconstrued to mean that it is permissible to be- friend the kuffaar when friend- ship with Muslims is still maintained. The verse rules out (friendship) relationships with the kuffaar. In reality, bosom friendship is only pos- sible with the kuffaar when (genuine brotherly) relation- ship with Muslims are ignored, be it intentionally or coinci- dentally. Once a friendship is struck up with a kaafir, the re- lationship with a Muslim will inevitably be weakened, in fact even destroyed. A Grave Warning To Those Who Befriend The Kuffaar "Whoever does so (befriends the kuffaar) has no connec- tion with Allah... " Thereafter Allah mentions an exception to the prohibition and allows a superficial friendship by say- ing, "...unless you have to pro- tect yourselves from enemies.” When a Muslim is in genuine danger of losing either his life or any limb, he may display an external „friendship‟ if it will secure his safety. In this case it is permissible for him to say things contrary to Islam. Of course such statements should only be verbal expressions and must not enter the heart. " Allah warns you to beware of Him and unto Allah is the return." If a Muslim bears this always in mind, he will be able to abstain from all sins and not succumb to the dictates of evil.” (Continued from page 6) OUR ONLY FRIENDS “Verily, your only friends are Allah and His Rasool and those who have Imaan. They are those who establish Salaat, pay Zakaat and are humble. Whoever befriends Allah and His Rasool and the Mu‟mineen, verily they are the Army of Allah, and they will be victori- ous.” (Al-Maaidah, 55 and 56) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 8 Ameerul Mu‟mineen, Hadhrat Abu Bakr (Radhiyallahu anhu) was extremely ill and bed- ridden during his Maradhul Maut (the Last illness herald- ing Death). Ten days prior to his demise, and after having appointed Hadhrat Umar Farooq (Radhiyallahu anhu) to succeed him to the Khilaafat, Hadhrat Abu Bakr (Radhiyallahu anhu), despite his extreme weakness, came out of his home to address the Muslims. After delivering his final Khutbah, he turned to Hadhrat Umar (Radhiyallahu anhu), and said: “O Umar! I have appointed you over the Sahaabah of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) as my Representa- tive. Fear Allah Ta‟ala zaa- hiran and baatinan (outwardly and inwardly, with body and soul). O Umar! There are some Huqooq (Rights) of Allah re- lated to the night. He does not accept that these Rights be ful- filled during the day. Allah Ta‟ala does not accept Na- waafil as long as the Faraaidh have not been fulfilled. O Umar! On the Day of Qiyaamah only he whose A‟maal Saalihah (Virtuous Deeds) are weighty will be successful. He whose virtuous deeds are few, will be appre- hended by misfortune. O Umar! The Paths of Suc- cess and Salvation are ac- quired by practically imple- menting the Qur‟aan Majeed and following the Haqq (Truth). O Umar! Are you not aware that the Aayaat of Targheeb and Tarheeb, and of Inthaar and Bashaarat were revealed together so that the Mu‟min remains fearful of Allah Ta‟ala and seeks forgiveness? O Umar! When the Verses of the inmates of the Fire are recited in the Qur‟aan, then supplicate: „O Allah! Do not include me among them.‟ When the Verses regarding the people of Jannat are recited, then supplicate: “O Allah! In- clude me among them.‟ O Umar! When you adhere to these advices I am giving you, then it will be as if I am sitting at your side.” Ten days after this Final Naseehat, Ameerul Mu‟mi- neen, Siddique Akbar (Radhiyallahu anhu) passed away after Maghrib Salaat at the age of 63. He was buried before Isha‟ Salaat time had set in. At the time when Hadhrat Abu Bakr (Radhiyallahu anhu) was proffering his final naseehat to his successor, Hadhrat Umar Farooq (Radhiyallahu anhu), he (Abu Bakr) was the Ruler of the Islamic Empire which was spreading like wildfire from country to country. Noteworthy is the fact that his Final Naseehat on the oc- casion of departing from this ephemeral world was not relat- ed to national and international politics. He was not issuing directives pertaining to gov- ernment. His Naseehat was related strictly to the affairs of the Aakhirat – to success and salvation in the Akhirat which are acquirable only by means of Ibadat (worship) and Itaa-at (obedience). Even the worldly success and power of Muslims are in- herent in Ibaadat and Itaa-at. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “The dunya has been created for you, and you have been created for the Aakhirat.” This dunya is merely our vehicle of transport to take us back Home into Jan- nat. That is, if the vehicle is correctly employed in this ser- vice. The stupendous victories and success of the Sahaabah were the consequences of their focus on the Aakhirat. The ef- fect of this focus was the culti- vation of Roohaaniyat (spiritual stamina and power) which had eliminated the Ro- man and Persian empires. The Sahaabah wielded their Swords of Jihad for the attain- ment of Jannat. That is why Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “Jannat lies under the shadow of swords.” The lesson for us in this Last Naseehat of Hadhrat Abu Bakr (Radhiyallahu anhu) is that our first, foremost and on- ly concern should be our mor- al reformation and spiritual elevation. Everything and all of the dunya will then fall at our feet. In this regard, our Mashaaikh have said: “When the Mu‟min is true in his Zuhd, the dunya will come crawling to him in disgrace.” AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 9 The Roman emperor, Heracli- us had assembled a huge ar- my of 240,000 to eliminate the Islamic threat. The Sahaa- bah had already entered into the Land of Shaam which was part of the Byzantine Empire. Heraclius had come in person to Shaam to pre- pare his army for the decisive battle to halt the Muslim ad- vance and to eliminate the Sahaabah. Meanwhile, Ameerul Mu‟mineen had arranged the Muslim army into four de- tachments. One group headed for Palestine, one for Damas- cus, one for Hims and one for Urdun. The total number of the four detachments was 30,000. When this information reached Heraclius , he sent four detachments to confront and give battle to the Islamic forces. To confront the Is- lamic threat, Heraclius fielded an army of 240,000 fully equipped with the best mili- tary ware of the age. It was indeed a formidable army of great military power and prowess. This information reached the Muslim detachments. An urgent communication was despatched to the Khalifah Hadhrat Abu Bakr (Radhiyallahu ahhu). The Khalifah immediately issued instructions for the four de- tachments to engroup at a single place to give battle to the Christians. He also wrote to Hadhrat Khalid Bin Waleed (Radhiyallahu anhu) who was not part of the four detachments, but was with his army in the province of Heerah. He instructed Ha- dhrat Khalid to immediately move with 10,000 of his troops to reinforce the army preparing to meet the forces of Heraclius, and to leave at Heerah another 10,000 troops under the command of Muthanna Bin Haarithah (Radhiyallahu anhu). Hadhrat Khalid Bin Waleed (Radhiyallahu anhu) was also instructed by the Khalifah to take full command of the Muslim army. He was now appointed Commander-in- Chief. When the information of the unification of the four Is- lamic detachments reached Heraclius, he likewise or- dered the entire army to group together at one place in readiness for battle. The entire army of 240,000 camped on the plain of Yar- mouk. Both armies had now assembled at Yarmouk while Hadhrat Khalid had not yet reached. Along his march to Yar- mouk, Hadhrat Khalid (Radhiyallahu anhu) had to give battle at several places where the enemy had posi- tions. He defeated and rout- ed every group of the enemy and continued his march to join the main army. With Khalid‟s re-enforcements, the Muslim army now numbered 40,000 which was six times numerically inferior to the 240,000 troops fielded by Heraclius. This army of the Christians was vastly superior in every material and worldly aspect to the Army of Islam. On 13th Rabiul Awwal 13 Hijri, Hadhrat Khalid (Radhiyallahu anhu) reached the Muslim army at Yarmouk. Prior to his arrival, there were light skirmishes with the army of Heraclius, but no major battle. One night Hadhrat Khalid learnt that the Christian army would make a full-blown at- tack in the morning. That very night, Hadhrat Khalid divided the Muslim army into many small detachments, and posi- tioned them vantageously ac- cording to his battle plan. In the morning, the Christians commenced with a cavalry attack with 40,000 horsemen. Hadhrat Khalid (Radhiyallahu anhu) with his small detachment advanced, gave battle. The cavalry that attacked was repulsed, and they fled. After this initial defeat suf- fered by the Christians, one of their commanders, Jarjah Bin Zaid, came forward to have dialogue with Khalid (Radhiyallahu anhu). Jarjah questioned about Islam. After Hadhrat Khalid (Radhiyallahu anhu) had explained Islam to him, Jarjah Bin Zaid (Radhiyallahu anhu) embraced Islam and joined the Islamic army. He was martyred in this (Continued on page 10) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 10 Battle of Yarmouk. It was perhaps the most fe- rocious battle which raged for more than 24 hours, the entire day and night. By morning the army of Heracleus was totally routed. They fled in utter dis- order with the Muslim army pursuing and cutting them down. 130,000 troops of the Christians were slain and drowned in the river. Three thousand Muslims were mar- tyred. The Battle of Yarmouk sealed the fate of the Byzan- tine Empire. (Continued from page 9) The cruel tyrant, Khalifah Waathiq of the Abbaasi Dynasty had personally exe- cuted Hadhrat Ahmad Bin Nasr Khuzaai (rahmatullah alayh) for his resolute proc- lamation of the Haqq re- garding the question of Khalq-e-Qur'aan (i.e. whether the Qur'aan is a cre- ated object or not). When the Ulama-e-Soo' (evil scholars) who were the lackeys of Waathiq, the Khalifah, had pronounced the decree of kufr, then Waathiq himself cut off the blessed head of Hadhrat Khuzaai (rahmatullah alayh). The Khalifah ordered that his body be hung up for public display as a lesson to those who denied the offi- cial bid'ah version promoted by the Mu'tazili sect. The blessed head was sent to Baghdad and put up for dis- play. It remained on public display for two years. The mubaarak head did not dete- riorate. Instead, a wonderful karaamat (miracle) was manifested. From the mo- ment his head was severed, the Tilaawat of the Qur'aan could be heard emanating from it. This Tilaawat con- tinued as long as the head was up for public display. The new Khalifah, Muta- wakkil billaah who was a staunch follower of the Sun- nah, ordered the body and the head to be buried with honour. He apprehended the Ulama-e-Soo' who were re- sponsible for this perfidy and brutality, and had them executed. Along the journey to take pos- session of the prized city of Jerusalem, Ameerul Mu‟mi- neen Umar Farooq (Radhiyallahu anhu), halted at a place called Jaabiyah where he delivered a khutbah to the assembly of Muslims. In this Khutbah he said: “O People! Reform your inner selves (souls/nafs), then your outer selves (your practi- cal life) will become reformed. Practice (make amal) for your Aakhirat. It will suffice for your worldly affairs. He who intends to acquire the Path of Jannat should cling to the Ja- ma-at (of Haqq/of the Sun- nah), for verily shaitaan is with the one (who deviates from the Jamaa-at). He shai- taan is very far from two (i.e. from the Jamaa-at of the Haqq). Never ever be alone with a woman, for verily, shai- taan is the third one present. He who derives happiness from his good deeds and be- comes dejected over his evil deeds, indeed he is a Mu‟min.” At this occasion Hadhrat Umar (Radhiyallahu anhu) was the Ruler of the huge Is- lamic Empire from the Atlan- tic Ocean in the West to al- most the walls of China in the East. Noteworthy is the fact that his naseehat on this politi- cal mission to take possession of Jerusalem, did not centre on national and international politics and government. His naseehat was for diverting the minds to the Aakhirat which is attainable only by means of moral reformation and spiritu- al elevation based on sound Imaan. His khutbah thus cen- tred on this subject. AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 11 Battle of Yarmouk: An Analysis of Byzantine Mili- tary Failure James Hardy It is one of the great ironies of history that Emperor Hera- clius, who rescued the Byzan- tine Empire from potential col- lapse at the hands of the Sassa- nid Empire (Persian Empire), should preside over the defeat of the Byzantine army at the hands of the early Arab ca- liphs. The collapse of Byzanti- um‟s military position in the near-east was sealed by the Battle of Yarmouk (also spelled Yarmuk) in AD 636. Indeed, it is no exaggeration to state that the Battle of Yar- mouk was one of the most de- cisive battles in history. In the course of six days, a vastly outnumbered Arab army suc- ceeded in annihilating a signif- icantly larger Byzantine force. This defeat led to the perma- nent loss of not only Syria and Palestine, but also of Egypt and large portions of Mesopo- tamia, and contributed in part to the rapid collapse of Byzan- tium‟s traditional rival, the Sassanid Empire… The Arab invasions of the Byzantine East began modest- ly in AD 634 in a series of ten- tative raids. Yet, within a span of two years the Arabs were able to score two impressive victories over the Byzantines; the first at Ajnadayn in July 634 and the second at Pella (also known as the Battle of the Mud) in January 635. The result of these battles was the collapse of Byzantine authori- ty throughout the Levant, cul- minating in the capture of Da- mascus in September AD 635. Why Heraclius did not respond to these early incur- sions is unclear. However, the fall of Da- mascus finally alert- ed Herculius to the danger which the Arab invasions posed to Byzantine authority in the east and he organized a massive army to recapture the city. In the face of a sustained Byzantine counter-offensive, the various Arab armies‟ aban- doned their recent conquests in Syria and retreated to the Yar- mouk river, where they were able to regroup under the lead- ership of Khalid Ibn al-Walid. … Even when the opposing army‟s finally met, the Byzan- tines delayed from mid-May until the 15th of August before finally giving battle. This proved to be a fatal mistake as it allowed the Arab army to gather reinforcements, scout out the Byzantine positions, and to close off the Deraa Gap, which prevented the bulk of the Byzantine army from retreating after the battle. The battle itself occurred over the course of six days. Though the Byzantines initial- ly took the offensive and re- pulsed some Muslim counter- attacks, they were unable to attack the main Arab encamp- ment. In addition, the Arab army was able to use their foot and cavalry archers to great effect, placing them in pre- pared positions, and were thus able to halt the initial Byzan- tine advance. The decisive moment came on August 20, when according to legend, a sandstorm developed and blew into the Byzantine army, al- lowing the Arabs to charge the Byzantine line en-masse. The Byzantines, cut off from their main axis of retreat, were sys- tematically massacred. The exact losses are unknown, though Al-Baladhuri states that up to 70,000 Byzantine soldiers were killed during and immediately after the battle. The size of the army‟s at Yarmouk is a matter of fierce debate. Al-Baladhuri, for in- stance, states that the Muslim army was 24,000 strong and that they faced a Byzantine force of over 200,000. …At any rate, it is clear that the Byzantines heavily outnum- bered their Arab opponents. … Nevertheless, the lack of effective and coordinated lead- ership in the Byzantine army, coupled with the superb gen- eralship of Khalid Ibn al- Walid was a likely factor in the outcome of the battle. The skill of the Arab caval- ry, particularly the horse arch- ers, also gave the Arab army a distinct advantage in terms of their ability to outmanoeuvre their Byzantine counterparts. The delay between May and August was disastrous for two reasons; first it provided the Arabs with an invaluable res- pite to regroup and gather re- (Continued on page 12) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 12 inforcements. Second, the de- lay wreaked havoc on the overall moral and discipline of the Byzantine troops; the Ar- menian contingents in particu- lar grew increasingly agitated and mutinous. … The legacy of the Battle of Yarmouk was both far reach- ing and profound. First, and most immediately, the defeat at Yarmouk led to the perma- nent loss of the entire Byzan- tine East (Syria, Palestine, Mesopotamia, and Egypt), which seriously undermined the Byzantine Empire‟s fiscal and military capabilities. Second, the Arab invasions were perceived by many in Byzantine society as divine retribution for their lack of pi- ety, idolatrous behaviour, and the Emperor‟s incestuous mar- riage to Martina. … Finally, the Arab conquests, and the battle of Yarmouk in particular, destroyed the mili- tary reputation of Heraclius. Having failed to prevent the loss of half the empire, Hera- clius retreated into isolation, by all accounts a broken man, a mere shadow of the former dynamic personality who had been victorious against the Persians merely a decade be- fore. (Continued from page 11) Question Please comment on the fol- lowing statement. Is it cor- rect? Are all flags of all Muslim nations haraam? “We need to educate the Mus- lims that the only flag we stand, fight, and die for is the flag of Laailaha il lallaah. Every other flag is a flag of nationalism and a flag of Jahi- liyyah (pre-islamic igno- rance). These flags had divided the Ummah, dissected the Muslim lands, and broke the brother- hood Islam built. So we say nationalism is under our feet, just as the Messenger of Allah said: "All matters of the Jahi- liyyah (pre-Islamic period) are abolished beneath my feet...." Drop the flags of Jahiliyyah and pick up the flag of Islam!” (End of the flag statement) Answer Undoubtedly, the arrogance of nationalism is haraam. But flags are not necessarily haraam. Only if the flag con- notes haraam, will it be haraam, e.g. the flag of a kuffaar nation, the flags of sporting teams, the red cross flag, etc. Even the different tribes among the Sahaabah had their own flags. (Continued on page 14) SIGNS OF QIYAAMAH Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “When you see waterways, underground tunnels and buildings rising above the mountains, then know that Qiyaamah has overshad- owed you.” These Signs are conspicuous- ly visible today in Makkah Mukarramah. IZZAT- HONOUR! Bootlicking subservience to the Satanists of the interfaith ideology is the effect of the craving for honour and mon- ey. Nafsaani and mercenary objectives are the motives for embracing the kufr inter- faith project. But the Qur‟aan Majeed declares: “Verily all Izzat belongs to only Allah. He Hears and He is Aware.” (Yoonus, Aayat 65) Honour and respect are award- ed by only Allah Azza Wa Jal. Izzat is not procurable by bootlicking and embracing the kuffaar. The acquisition of true Izzat is only by means of obedience to Allah Ta‟ala. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “Whatever is by Allah, is procurable only by means of obeying Him.” AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 13 While the interfaith bootlick- ers seek the favour of their kuffaar paymasters, the Qur‟aan, rejecting interfaith kufr, commands: “Say: „O People! If you are in any doubt regarding my Deen (of Islam), then (know) that I do not worship what you worship besides Allah, but I worship Allah, The One Who takes your life. And, I have been commanded to be among the Mu‟mineen. (And I have been commanded to say): „Focus your attention on the Straight Deen, and that never should you be of the mush- rikeen‟. Do not worship besides Al- lah that which does not ben- efit you nor harm you. If you do so, then indeed you will be among the oppres- sors.” (Surah Yunoos) “And if you turn away (from Islam), then, verily, I fear for you the punishment of a Great Day.” (Surah Hood) “You worship nothing ex- cept some names (of idols) which you have named – you and your fathers…… Allah has commanded that you wor- ship only Him. This is the Straight/Correct Deen (of absolute Truth), but most peo- ple do not know.” (Surah Yoosuf) Addressing the kuffaar/ mushrikeen, Hadhrat Nabi Ib- raaheem (Alayhis salaam) said: “Verily, We are free from you (mushrikeen) and from that (idols) you worship be- sides Allah. We have rejected you. Enmity and hatred have surfaced for all time between us and you until you believe in The One Allah….” (Surah Al-Mumtahinah) This is the Ta‟leem of the Qur‟aan for Muslims when they have dialogue with the kuffaar. The command is to present pure Tauheed to them in an unadulterated form; to clearly state that on- ly Islam is the Absolute Truth; to say that their reli- gions are false and figments of their satanic imagination. The Kufr Interfaith project requires acceptance of all religions and ideologies, and that no religion is the absolute truth. This kufr ideology pre- cludes Da‟wat and Tableegh. On the contrary, the so-called „muslim‟ participants in this kufr interfaith project are re- quired to embrace the kuffaar and their ideologies with respect, tolerance, con- donation and bootlicking ci- vility and docility. NAHYI ANIL MUNKAR Nahyi anil Munkar (Prohibiting evil) is a Waajib obligation. Failure to dis- charge this obligation invites the La‟nat (Curse) of Allah Azza Wa Jal. In this regard, the Qur‟aan Majeed states: “The kuffaar of Bani Is- raaeel have been cursed on the tongues of Daawood and Isaa, the Son of Maryam. That is because they would not prohibit from evil (Nahyi anil Munkar) which they used to perpetrate. Indeed vile is that which they committed. “You will see numerous of them befriending the kuffaar. Indeed evil is that which they have sent ahead for them- selves- The Wrath of Allah is on them, and in the Punish- ment shall they dwell forev- er.” (Al-Maaidah, 79 & 80) This Aayat expressly states that the Ambiya (Alayhimus Salaam) had invoked La‟nat on those who abstained from Nahy Anil Munkar. Molvis who have aban- doned Amr Bil Ma‟roof Nahyi Anil Munkar by soothing their conscience with their satanic dubious policy of „hikmat‟ (wisdom and diplo- macy) should fear Allah Ta‟ala. They should under- stand that such dubious di- plomacy and nafsaani „hikmat‟ are snares of Iblees designed to terminate the Waajib command of Amr Bil Ma‟roof Nahyi Anil Munkar. THE PROMISED DAY “The day they will see what- ever they had been promised, it will appear to them that they had not lived (on earth) except for an hour. This is the Message (of Allah). Thus, only a nation of faasiqoon (vile and flagrant transgres- sors) will be destroyed. (Al-Ahqaaf, Aayat 35) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 14 The successes and victories of the Sahaabah despite their extreme numerical inferiority and paucity of military equip- ment are indeed mind bog- gling. In a matter of a few years they burst out from the Arabian Desert to plant the Standards of Islam in lands in the west and east. These illus- trious Sahaabah crushed the then two super powers, the Roman and Persian empires. What was the secret for their astounding victories? On the occasion of one mem- orable victory, Hadhrat Umar (Radhiyallahu anhu) wrote to the army drawing their atten- tion to the cause of their vic- tory. He said that victory was not the consequence of num- bers and military hardware. It was purely the Nusrat (Aid) of Allah Azza Wa Jal. Why was the Nusrat of Al- lah Ta‟ala always with the Sahaabah? It was the pure, sincere intention and attitude of the Sahaabah. Their every step was designed for the Aakhirat. Once while Hadhrat Abu Talhah (Radhiyallahu an- hu) was performing Salaat, he thought about his orchard. This thought grieved him im- mensely. It was unbearable for him to entertain the dunya in Ibaadat. He therefore promptly made Waqf of the beautiful orchard which was of considerable value. This is merely one example of the attitude of the Sahaa- bah. In every sphere of life, the Aakhirat was uppermost in their minds. It was this no- ble attitude which made them such fearless warriors in the battlefield against vastly su- perior kuffaar armies. Ha- dhrat Umar (Radhiyallahu an- hu) who was a shepherd be- came the emperor of a mighty empire. Just reflect on their method of Da‟wat and Tableegh. It was not gusht and talk. In the presence of kings, the envoys of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) would throw down the gauntlet and pro- claim: Accept Islam or sub- mit to us and pay Jizya, or the Sword. This was the ini- tial be all of the Da‟wat and Tableegh of the Sahaabah. While it is understandable that today this wonderful form of Da‟wat and Tableegh is not possible due to the ex- tremely defective condition of our Imaan – Imaan dan- gling by a thread - Muslims are not expected to bootlick the kuffaar. To acquire a de- gree of Nusrat it is of impera- tive importance to repent and reform. Taubah and Islaah are the vital requisites for the ac- quisition of Help from Allah Ta‟ala. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “Whatever is by Allah is ac- quirable only by means of obedience.” And the Qur‟aan states: “Aid is only from Allah, The Mighty.” The noble and great Sultan Salaahuddin who had fought and defeated the crusaders had numerous nationalities and tribes comprising his troops. They had their own national flags which were displayed on the occasions of battles. There is nothing wrong with such flags. There is no in- junction of the Shariah which prohibits the flags of Mus- lim nations and tribes. The numerous Muslim na- tions all have their own dis- tinct forms of Islamic dress. This does not mean that their dress code is of the Jahi- liyyah. Flags do not divide the Ummah, and did not di- vide the Ummah. Fisq, Fujoor and love of the dunya had divided the Ummah. The statement does not ex- plain what is the concept of nationalism which is not per- missible. Allah Ta‟ala has created nations. Pride on the basis of nationalism is haraam. (Continued from page 12) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 15 Q. What is the status of mak- ing khatam of Bukhaari Shareef as a dua for the Pal- estinians? A. Leave alone Bukhaari Shareef which came into exist- ence a couple of centuries af- ter Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam). Even group khatam of the Qur‟aan Majeed for occasions of fear and hard- ship is not Sunnah. The Sahaa- bah did not make any such khatam when they were faced by danger and hardship. Maulana Yoonus Jaunpuri (Rahmatullah alayh) having organized such a khatm in Sa- haranpur in 1948 is not a daleel in terms of the Shariah. It is the effect of failing to un- derstand reality and of having drifted from the pure Sunnah Tareeqah of the Sahaabah. Even calling for Khatam of the Qur‟aan Shareef on such occasions has no substantia- tion in the Sunnah. In fact, according to the Hanafi Math-hab, even Qunoot-e-Naazilah is not Masnoon although it is Sunnah according to the other Math- habs. Thus, the practice of group khatam of Bukhaari Shareef on occasions of dan- ger, fear and hardship is akin to Bid‟ah. All diversions from the Sunnah ultimately end in the disaster of Bid‟ah. “European leaders visiting Israel to show support, not call for ceasefire: Expert European leaders are visiting the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv not to call for a ceasefire but to show they are on the side of the Israelis, that is according to Abdel Hamid Siyam, professor of political science and Middle East Studies at Rutgers Uni- versity. “The European leaders are going to the region carrying two messages. First, they want to express extreme support for Israel, unlimited support re- gardless of what Israel is do- ing,” Siyam told Al Jazeera. “Secondly, they are trying to get the hostages out and may- be talk about a humanitarian corridor,” he said. “It‟s never been like this. Israel is acting without any consideration for international law. They‟re committing war crimes in front of everyone and these leaders did not even call for a cease- fire. This is unprecedented,” he added.” (Al Jazeera) What else other than hatred for Muslims can be expected from the kuffaar regardless of their hues. Kufr is a single breed of satanism. Stupid Muslims who have drifted far, very far from Islam, be- lieve and bootlick such kuffaar who ostensibly and hypocritically flaunt some sympathy for the suffering Muslims. The Qur‟aan warns us of the hypocrisy of the kuffaar and the evil of such Muslims who bootlick them. “You will see those in whose hearts is a disease (the disease of nifaaq/zandaqah), racing among them…..” (Al-Maaidah, Aayat 52) Yes, you will see the bootlick- ing reverends and pundits such as Reverend Abraham Bham, Zindeeq Menk, Rever- end Solomon Ravat, the Mada- ni Pundits and many other similar deviates creeping into the hinds of the kuffaar in pursuit of their nefarious ob- jectives camouflaged with some Deeni hue. They are the munaafiqeen. Beware of them! ‘Free world, where are you?’ “The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza has released a video showing the director of the Gaza European Hospital, Yousef al-Akkad, sending a message to the world with the bodies of six infants killed in an Israeli bombing in front of him. “Look at these children. Who is killing these children?” al- Aqqad asked in his message. “Free world, where are you (Continued on page 16) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 16 regarding these massacres committed against this be- reaved and oppressed people?” al-Aqqad said.” (Al Jazeera) While the Palestinian chap, suffering from gross Imaani deficiency calls on the devils for aid and support, the Qur‟aan Majeed says: “There is no aid except from Allah, The Mighty.” “If Allah aids you, there will be none to defeat you. And if Allah abandons you, then who is there to Aid you besides Allah.” Bootlicking the so-called „free world‟, the UN and similar other appendages of Iblees will not avail. Muslims have become an Ummah of Boot- lickers groveling at the feet of the kuffaar. Never will there be succour for Muslims as long as they do not under- stand the utter disgrace of the disease of bootlicking, and this understanding can be achieved only by total sub- mission to the Shariah and adoption of the Sunnah. “If you aid (the Deen of) Al- lah, He will aid you.” (Continued from page 15) “Allah suffices for the Mu‟mineen in Qitaal (Battles of Jihad), And Allah is Most Powerful and Mighty.” (Al-Ahzaab, Aayat 25) Question What is the stance of the Sha- riah regarding aid which Ha- mas seeks from the Shiah Hezbollah and Iran? Answer The aforementioned Aayat of the Qur‟aan Majeed adequate- ly answers the question. It is gross deficiency of Imaan which constrains Muslims to look askance at the enemies of Islam for aid. The very Same Allah Who had sufficed for the Sahaabah in their battles against the Roman and Persian empires, exists today. The Promises of the Qur‟aan are valid for all times. Allah Azza Wa Jal had granted the Sahaabah stupen- dous victories against vastly superior armies. But today the so-called Mujaahideen are be- ing denied the aid of Allah Ta‟ala, hence they are sorely reliant on the enemies of Islam for a smattering of aid to ena- ble them to make feeble shows of „jihad‟. It is essential for Muslims to deeply reflect and to en- deavour fathoming the causes for being deprived of Allah‟s Nusrat. Although Allah Ta‟ala emphatically states in the Qur‟aan that He suffices in Qitaal for the Mu‟mineen, the reality on the ground is that the claimants of Imaan are denied that Aid in the wake of which comes victory. Just why is the Nusrat promised to the Mu‟mineen not arriving? Since Muslims have acquired the attitude of atheists, they refuse to even seriously ponder on the Prom- ises of Allah Ta‟ala for the Mu‟mineen stated in the Qur‟aan. If they reflect sin- cerely, they will understand that today the Muslim nation is no longer the Mu‟mineen for whom Allah Ta‟ala has promised His aid. Today the Ummah is depicted in the fol- lowing Hadith: “A time will dawn when the people will gather in their Musaajid and perform Salaat whilst not a single one will be a Mu‟min.” Now, when we are no longer Mu‟mineen in the meaning of the Qur‟aan, the answer for the Ummah being abandoned by Allah Azza Wa Jal should not be a mystery. This is why Ha- mas has embraced the Shiahs, and that is why the Mujaahi- deen in Syria have to make a show of their jihad to conform with the political policies of Turkey and the U.S. NUSRAT – AID “Upon Us (Allah Ta‟ala) is the obligation to aid the Mu‟mineen.” (Ar-Room, Aayat 47) The Palestinians, the Kashmir- is, the Syrians, and other seg- ments of the Ummah are suf- fering and groveling at the boots of the kuffaar. The Nus- rat of Allah Ta‟ala is not forthcoming. They are de- prived of Divine Aid because they are not genuine Mu‟mi- neen. The Promise of Nusrat in this Aayat as well as in other Qur‟aanic verses and Ahaadith is for genuine Mu‟mineen. AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 17 “Say (O Nabi!): „To whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth?‟ Say: „(It belongs only) to Allah…‟” (Al-An‟aam, Aayat 12) “If Allah afflicts you with harm, there is no one who can then remove it, except He. And, if He bestows goodness to you, then (know) that He has power over all things.” (Al-An‟aam, Aayat 17) Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said that if entire mankind unites to harm you, they will succeed in harming you only to the extent which Allah Ta‟ala has ordained for you. In the same way, if entire mankind unites to grant you benefit, they will be able to do so only to the extent Allah Ta‟ala has ordained for you. It is necessary for Muslims to reflect and understand what the Qur‟aan and the Had- ith teach us. Only then will they understand that every- thing that occurs in the uni- verse is by the command and permission of Allah Ta‟ala. He is the Commander and the Controller. Every ordainment will run its course. No one can thwart the decrees of Allah Ta‟ala. If Muslims can understand this Belief, they will then un- derstand what is happening in Gaza and elsewhere where Muslims are suffering. The haze will dissipate and they will begin to understand the causes of our misery and hu- miliation. Then they will un- derstand and adopt the solu- tion and remedy prescribed by Allah Ta‟ala. Once a waswasah pertaining to Hadhrat Ali (Radhiyallahu anhu) occurred to Hadhrat Abu Bakr Kitaani (Rahmatullah alayh). He nar- rates: “It occurred to me that even if Hadhrat Muaawiyyah (Radhiyallahu anhu) was in error, and Hadhrat Ali (Radhiyallahu anhu) was on the Haqq, it would have spared so much bloodshed if Hadhrat Ali (Radhiyallahu anhu) had relinquished the Khilaafat in favour of Hadhrat Muaawiy- yah (Radhiyallahu anhu).” Soon thereafter whilst be- tween Safa and Marwah, he fell asleep and in a dream saw Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) with his four Khulafa. After embracing me, Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) pointing to Ha- dhrat Abu Bakr (Radhiyallahu anhu) asked: “Who is this?” I said: “Hadhrat Abu Bakr (Radhiyallahu anhu).” Then Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) pointed to Hadhrat Umar (Radhiyallahu anhu) and said: “Who is this?” I said: “Hadhrat Umar (Radhiyallahu anhu)”. Then Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) pointing to Hadhrat Uthmaan (Radhiyallahu anhu) said: “Who is this?” I said: “Hadhrat Uthmaan (Radhiyallahu anhu).” Then pointing to Hadhrat Ali (Radhiyallahu anhu), Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) asked: “Who is this?” I was smitten with shame because of the bad thought which had developed in me, hence could not speak.” Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said that we (Hadhrat Ali and myself) were brothers. Then we em- braced. Meanwhile Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) and the three Khulafa depart- ed. Hadhrat Ali (Radhiyallahu anhu) said to me: “Come let us go to Mount Qubais.” We went on top of Mount Qubais and from there I saw the Ka‟bah. My eyes opened and I found myself on Mount Qubais. The ill-thought had completely vanished from my heart.” Whenever one is assaulted with any ill-thought regarding any Sahaabi, immediately re- cite Ta-awwz and understand that the thought is a waswasah from shaitaan. Never think ill of any Sahaa- bi. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said that all his Sahaabah are righteous. ALLAH IS NOT UNJUST Your Rabb does not unjustly destroy cities while their in- habitants are engaging in their Islaah (moral and spir- itual reformation) (Hood, Aayat 117) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 18 “Never think that Allah is una- ware of the perpetrations of the zaalimoon (oppressors) Verily, He is only granting them respite for a day when gazes will be upturned.” (Ibraaheem, Aayat 42) “Verily, they plotted their plots, but their plots (for exe- cution) rests with Allah even though their plots could displace mountains.” (Ibraaheem, Aayat 46) “Therefore, do not think that Allah will breach His Prom- ise which He has made to His Messengers. Verily, Allah is Mighty and Capable of extracting Vengeance.” (Ibraaheem, Aayat 47) The elaborate, dark and sa- tanic plots of the Yahood and Nasaara oppressors (U.S.A. and Israel, etc.) which have „displaced mountains‟, having laid waste and destruction to Palestine, is in reality the De- cree of Allah Azza Wa Jal. The kuffaar are being granted respite to perpetrate their op- pression which is Allah‟s Punishment for the gross transgression, fisq, fujoor and kufr of Muslims. The Divine Decree will run its prescribed course and end with the de- struction of the Yahood and Nasaara. It is of the Ways of Allah Azza Wa Jal to punish Mus- lims with kuffaar domination and oppression. History testi- fies for this reality. After the punishment, the kuffaar will turn on one another in interne- cine war. “Never will you find for the Sunnah of Allah a change.” (Qur‟aan) “If your Rabb had willed, He would have made all mankind one nation alt- hough they will always be disputing, except those upon whom your Rabb has mercy. And, He has creat- ed them for this (i.e. for disputing). Verily, it is the decree of your Rabb: „Verily, I shall fill Jahannam with the multitude of man and jinn.” (Hood, 118, 119) There will perpetually be dis- puting and infighting on earth. Strife, anarchy and evil are integral to life on earth. This world, said Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) is jeefah (carrion). People will ruin their Imaan and de- stroy their lives fighting over this jeefah. Allah Ta‟ala has dis- patched mankind to earth with an evil nafs. To aid and abet the evil nafs in its vile perpe- trations, Allah Ta‟ala sent shaitaan. Hence, this dunya is the arena of conflict be- tween Haqq and Baatil, vice and virtue. To combat the nafs and Iblees, Allah Ta‟ala has endowed us with two powerful weapons: Aql and the Ta‟leemaat of the Ambiya (Alayhimus salaam). If Allah Ta‟ala had desired peace, harmony, comfort and the domination of only Haqq and Virtue at all times, He would not have instilled in us an evil nafs nor would He have created Iblees. The mys- teries of Allah Ta‟ala are un- fathomable to our created minds with their finite ability of comprehension. HIS HELP “O People of Imaan! If you help Allah, He will help you and plant your feet solidly.” (Muhammad, Aayat 7) Allah Azza Wa Jal, Rabbul Aalameen, The One Who is the Creator and Whose Power encompasses every atom, “seeks help” from the Mu‟mi- neen. In lieu of such „help‟, He will provide His aid and plant our feet firmly. The „help‟ Allah Azza Wa Jal „seeks‟ is that Muslims up- hold His command, follow His Shariah and make their objec- tive the Aakhirah. Then He will grant the Ummah suffi- cient power to vanquish its enemies, the kuffaar. Thus, the promised Nusrat (Help) is reli- ant on Taa-at (obedience) and Ibaadat. AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 19 “The kuffaar said to their Rusul (Nabis): “Either return to our religion or we shall certainly expel you from our land. Then their Rabb re- vealed to them (the Rusul): „We shall most certainly de- stroy the oppressors, and We shall assuredly establish you in the land after them (after their destruction). This (Promise) is for him (and those) who fear My Presence and My Warning.” (Ibraaheem, 13 & 14) The events transpiring in Gaza today could be brought within the scope of this Qur‟aanic Aayat. The Yahood kuffaar are threatening the Muslims of Palestine with total destruction, genocide and extinction. But Allah Ta‟ala says something entirely dif- ferent. For those who fear Al- lah Ta‟ala and who submit to His Deen, the Divine Promise is: Destruction is for the Ya- hood Zaalimeen. The aid which Allah Ta‟ala promises Muslims in this Aayat is conditioned with obedience to Him. If Muslims return to the Deen in the prop- er manner, the airforces and bombs of the kuffaar Ya- hoodi khanaazeer will not be able to harm them. Taking advantage of the discord between Hadhrat Muaawiyah (Radhiyallahu anhu) and Ha- dhrat Ali (Radhiyallahu anhu) who were marching with their respective armies against one another, the Christian king of Byzantine (Eastern Roman Em- pire), contemplated attacking Damascus which was formerly part of the Roman Empire. When Hadhrat Muaawiyah (Radhiyallahu anhu) was in- formed of the contemplated move of the Christian king, he sent the following message to the king: “From Muaawiyah to the Dog of Rome: Scram! O La-een (Accursed one)! If you intend coming to me, I shall then most certainly make peace with my Companion (Ali-Radhiyallahu anhu), and we shall come to you with an army, the advance- guard of which will be by you, and the rear-guard by me.” This stern warning was suffi- cient to compel the Christian king to cancel his plan of attack- ing the Muslim Ummah. Hadhrat Muaawiyah (Radhiyallahu anhu) was prepared to set aside his dif- ference with Hadhrat Ali (Radhiyallahu anhu) for the safe- ty of Islam, the Ummah and the Lands of Islam. In this backdrop view the spineless attitude of the woman- ish rulers and governments of more than 50 Muslim countries. Right in front of their eyes and on their doorsteps, thousands of Muslim men, women and chil- dren are being massacred by America and Israel, but not a single one of these so-called Muslim states has the guts to step forward to defend the Mus- lim Ummah being massacred brutally in Palestine. YOUR FRIEND “Verily, your friend is only Allah and His Rasool And the Mu‟mineen who es- tablish Salaat, pay Zakaat and they bow in humility.” (Al-Maaidah, Aayat 55) The Ummah has no friend be- sides Allah Ta‟ala. The UN, the so-called „international community‟, and all kuffaar of whatever hue, are the enemies of Islam and the Mu‟mineen. The Qur‟aan repeatedly warns Muslims: “Do not take the Ya- hood and Nasaara as friends…” Friendship with them has led to bootlicking, grovelling and even abandon- ing the Deen. ALLAH DOES NOT OPPRESS “We apprehended everyone because of their sins. From among them were those against who We sent the Hur- ricane; from among them were those who were seized by the Mighty Screech; from among them were those whom We caused the earth to swallow, and from among them were those whom We drowned. And We did not commit zulm (oppression) on them. But, in reality, they had oppressed themselves (with their gross transgression). (Al-Ankaboot, Aayat 40) The Athaab in Palestine today is of the kind mentioned in this Qur‟aanic Aayat. It is the consequence of the zulm of transgression, fisq, fujoor and kufr of the Muslims. When rebellion against Allah Azza Wa Jal has crossed the red line, nothing will then prevent the decree of Athaab. It will run its prescribed course. AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 20 When Allah Ta‟ala in- formed Nabi Armiya‟ (Alayhis salaam) of His impending punishment which would destroy Bani Israaeel, he (the Nabi) suppli- cated to Allah Ta‟ala: “O my Rabb! You took Ib- raaheem (Alayhis salaam) as a friend, and because of him you have hitherto protected us. You communed with Musaa (Alayhis salaam) and you bestowed to him a lofty pedestal. By his virtue we supplicate to You to protect us. Do not impose the domi- nation of enemies on us.” In response to the supplica- tion (Dua) of Nabi Armiya‟ (Alayhis salaam), Allah Ta‟ala revealed to him: “O Armiya‟, I complain to you about Bani Israaeel. I was for them like a loving, caring Shepherd. I protected them against every danger and hardship. I nurtured them in comfort and bestowed to them prosperity. Then they became as strong rams and began butting one another. Alas! And again Alas! I honour those who hon- our Me. I humiliate those who humiliate My Deen. Na- tions before them shuddered on account of sin, but these people are obstinate in fla- grant commission of sin. They sin even in the Mu- saajid, in the marketplaces, on the mountains and on the trees. The mountains too are suffering because of their sins. The earth and the birds have developed hatred for them. They will not reform and they will not derive benefit from My Kitaab (Tauraah).” Thus did Allah Ta‟ala reject the Pleas of Nabi Armiya‟ (Alayhis salaam). The prescribed Punishment was already decreed and had to run its course. When Nabi Armiya‟ (Alayhis salaam) delivered this Wahi to his people, they insulted him. They accused him of lies. They arrogantly said: “Will Allah Ta‟ala destroy this holy land (Jerusalem) and render His Musaajid and His Tau- heed futile? When there is no Musjid, no Kitaab and those who worship Him are de- stroyed, who will then wor- ship Him? You have perfidi- ously slandered Allah. You are insane.” The Yahood then enchained their Nabi and cast him into prison. Now the Athaab be- came justified and halaal for them. Allah Ta‟ala sent the Fire-Worshipping king Bukht Nasar (Nebucanazzer) against Bani Israeel to deracinate the entire Ummah of that era. Re- ferring to this Athaab, the Qur‟aan Majeed states: “Then, We sent Our servants (Bukht Nasar and his troops) against you (O Bani Israaeel!). They were most powerful in war. They penetrated the homes … They disfigured (your) faces, entered the Musjid (Musjidul Aqsa defiling and destroying it), and they (pillaged, plundered) and utterly de- stroyed everything they over- ran…” (Surah Israa‟) With a vast army – troops swarming like locusts, dark- ening the skies – Bukht Nas- sar invaded Jerusalem. This army penetrated into the land of Bani Israaeel. Cities, towns and villages were plundered, pillaged and utterly de- stroyed. Torture, death and destruction were the treat- ment the fire-worshippers meted out to Bani Israeel bru- tally. One third of the population of Bani Israeel was put to death. Baitul Maqdis was utterly de- molished and destroyed. The females were denuded and paraded naked in the market- places. All the Musaajid were demolished, and copies of the Tauraah were burnt. Excreta and filth were filled into Musjidul Aqsa and pigs were slaughtered in the Mus- jid. Bukht Nasar with his army (Continued on page 21) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 21 PROCLAIM THE HAQQ Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “Proclaim the Haqq even if it is bitter.” “The noblest Jihad is to pro- claim the Haqq to a cruel king.” ONCE HADHRAT Hasan Basri (rahmatullah alayh) in the pres- ence of Hajjaaj Bin Yusuf, the notorious blood-shedder, said: "O enemy of Allah! O per- petrator of fisq and fujoor (evil and immorality)! O lover of sin and disobedience! Of what benefit will be this worldly pomp and splendour? The in- mates of the Heavens are curs- ing and reviling you. The in- habitants of the earth have reached their limits of tolera- tion regarding your tyranny and oppression. They have reached the end of the tether with their wrath and hatred for you." After administering this stern admonition to the tyrant Hajjaaj, Hadhrat Hasan Basri (rahmatullah alayh) then said: “Verily, Allah has taken a pledge from the Ulama that most certainly they should pro- claim the Haqq to the people.” Then he abruptly departed. They have the requisite mis- siles with which to arm Ha- mas, but their „aid‟ is restrict- ed to baboonic street marches, shouting slogans in womanish style and pretend- ing to shed tears. The next question is: If Tur- key and Pakistan were under similar aerial attack, would they refrain from utilizing their anti-aircraft artillery, guns and missiles to knock out the enemy planes? Turkey was and is extremely active in its war against the Kurds alt- hough the U.S.A. is the ally of the Kurds. But, only words of womanish condolence are of- fered to the Muslims of Pal- estine. But Hamas being far, very far from the Shariah and the Path of Allah Ta‟ala, is too blind to understand that it has no real allies. Since the Qur‟aan and Sunnah have no real meaning for Hamas, Al- lah Ta‟ala is withholding the requisite aid in the wake of which comes Victory. As long as the Palestinians fail to un- derstand the cause of their ig- nominy, humiliation and suf- fering, they will descend fur- ther into the quagmire of self- immolation. Although the massacre is ostensibly by the Yahood kuffaar, Muslim re- bellion against Allah Ta‟ala is self-immolation. In other words, Muslims are commit- ting suicide with their rebel- lion against the Deen of Allah Ta‟ala. Their rebellion in the form of fisq, fujoor and kufr, has constrained them to resort to bootlicking the kuffaar – the Yahood, Nasaara and the Shi- ahs, hence Allah Azza Wa Jal has abandoned this treacher- ous and disgraceful Ummah. “If you (O Mu‟mineen!) help (the Deen of) Allah, He will help you, and He will plant your feet firmly (against your enemy).” “If Allah aids you, no one can defeat you. And if He abandons you, then who is there to help you besides Al- lah?” (Qur‟aan) (Continued from page 1) overran, pillaged, plundered and destroyed the entire Land of Sham. Ninety thousand Yahood in chains were marched ahead of the army into slavery in Babylon. Among the slaves were nu- merous Ahbaar (Ulama), Rubaan (Monks) and even the Nabi (Alayhis salaam). Now view the current Ya- hood inflicted genocide of Palestine in the backdrop of this episode mentioned in the Qur‟aan Majeed to under- stand that whatever is hap- pening today in Palestine is the Athaab of Allah Azza Wa Jal. (Continued from page 20) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 22 (Alayhis salaam) After Bukht Nasar had accom- plished his mission of geno- cide of Bani Israaeel, (i.e. after the Athaab of Allah Ta‟ala had run its prescribed course), someone informed him: “Among them is a man who had forewarned them of the impending disaster and of the total destruction of their nation and land. Instead of heeding him, they assaulted him, labelled him a liar and imprisoned him.” Bukht Nasar ordered Nabi Armiya‟ (Alayhis salaam) to be released from prison and to be brought to him. When the Nabi was brought, the king asked: “Did you forewarn your people of the impending calamity?” Nabi Armiya‟: “Yes, most cer- tainly I did.” Bukht Nasar: “How were you made aware of what will be happening?” Nabi Armiya‟: “Allah Ta‟ala appointed me as His Nabi and to warn them. But they branded me a liar.” Bukht Nasar: “Did they assault and imprison you?” Nabi Armiya‟: “Yes, so did they do.” Bukht Nasar: “Indeed they are a most evil people who have belied their Nabi and rejected the Message of their Creator. Will you now join with me? I shall treat you honourably. Or, if you so desire, I can ar- range for you to be taken back to your homeland where you will be in safety under my pro- tection.” Nabi Armiya‟: “I have always been under the protection of Allah Ta‟ala. I am therefore perpetually in His protection and in His obedience. If Bani Israaeel had been obedient to Him, they would not have feared you nor feared anyone else, and you would not have been able to harm them in any way.” Bukht Nasar released Nabi Armiya‟ (alayhis salaam) from captivity. The Nabi then departed. He returned to his village, Eeliyah. “Say: “O Allah! (You are) the Sovereign of all lands. You grant sovereignty to whomev- er You will, and You snatch away sovereignty from whom- ever You will. You bestow honour to whomever You will, and You disgrace whomever You will. All goodness is in Your control. Verily, You are Powerful over everything.” (Aal Imraan, Aayat 26) Musaa said to his people: „Seek aid from Allah and have Sabr. Verily, the earth belongs to Allah. He bestows its (sovereignty) to whomever He wills of His servants. The end result of success (and victory) is for the Muttaqeen” (Al-A‟raaf, Aayat 128) Allah Ta‟ala had snatched from Muslims the land of the Indian subcontinent and hand- ed it over to the British kuffaar, and Allah Ta‟ala snatched away Palestine and handed it to the Yahood, and Allah Ta‟ala had snatched away all the Lands of Mus- lims and handed it to a variety of kuffaar nations who, in the context of these Qur‟aanic Aayaat are among “His serv- ants”. This is abundantly clear from the Nusoos of the Qur‟aan and Hadith. There is no gainsaying in this irrefuta- ble fact. It is only Allah Azza Wa Jal who grants power and sover- eignty on earth to nations. Re- garding Muslims, the impera- tive condition to qualify them for power and domination is Taqwa of a high calibre. Mi- nus this requisite, Muslims will perpetually remain the poodles, dogs and bootlickers of the kuffaar who will be the agents of Allah Ta‟ala to mete out the decreed Divine Chas- tisement about which Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) had so much warned this Ummah. AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 23 Q. Is Hadhrat Khidhr still alive? If he is alive, when will he die? A. Yes, Hadhrat Khidhr (Alayhis salaam) is still alive. There is a very small minority view that he is no longer alive. However, countless Auliyaa in all ages have reported meet- ing Khidhr (Alayhis salaam). Only Allah Ta‟ala knows when he will die. Q. What is a Darul Harb? A. A country governed by the kuffaar is Darul Harb. In this meaning, every Muslim coun- try today governed by kuffaar rulers and governments is Da- rul Harb. Hitherto, one excep- tion is Afghanistan. Despite the rulers in Muslim countries professing to be Muslims, they have in entirety abolished the Shariah and have imposed the law of Taaghut on Muslims. Q. Is it correct that according to Imaam Sarakhsi, a murtad woman cannot be executed? A. According to the Hanafi Math-hab, not only according to Imaam Sarakhsi, a mur- taddah (female apostate) is not executed. She is detained in prison as long as she re- mains on her apostasy. Q. Are hunger strike as per- missible? A. Hunger strikes are tanta- mount to suicide. If one dies in the wake of a hunger strike, one dies a haraam death. It al- so implies cowardice. Q. What should a Muslim student do when due to exams he misses Jumuah Salaat? A. It is a sin of exceptional gravity to miss Jumuah with- out valid reason. It is akin to kufr. Exams are not valid rea- sons for missing Jumuah. It is Waajib to miss the secular ex- am even if the consequence is abandonment of the secular career. In fact, the Maaliki Fuqaha have ruled that even if one Fardh Salaat will be missed on the journey of Hajj, then the obligation of Hajj is waived. The Fardh Salaat has priority over Hajj. Now when this ap- plies to even Hajj which is one of the fundamental Pillars of Islam, what will be the rul- ing when Fardh Salaat has to be missed for kufr education? Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “Seek a fatwa from your heart.” Q. I am a Muslim girl at uni- versity. I am trapped in a love relationship with a non- Muslim boy who has now em- braced Islam. We want to make halaal our two year re- lationship, but my parents re- fuse. I don‟t see myself aban- doning the relationship. I want to get out of this haraam relationship with Nikah. Can I marry the boy without the consent of my parents? A. By having allowed or com- pelled you to go to the educa- tional brothel (the university), your father has forfeited his wilaayat over you. Go ahead and make halaal the relation- ship. Have the nikah per- formed, or perform it yourself. Be concerned with the Wrath of Allah Ta‟ala, not with the displeasure of your parents who have cast you into the den of Iblees where your Islamic morals have become ruined. Such a father is a faasiq/faajir worse than a dayyooth and un- fit to be a valid Mahram for his daughter. Q. Is Maulana Arshad Madni an Aalim of Haqq? A. Molvi Arshad Madani is a pundit. He and reverend Abra- ham Bham are birds of a feather. He is among the worst kind of ulama-e-soo‟. That is precisely why the Reverend Abraham Bham character is in bed with him. They are cor- rupt shaitaani interfaithers. They have haraam dalliances with Hindus and Christians in their temples and churches. Q. Qunoot Naazilah is being recited daily in many places in support of the Palestinian cause. What is the status of this Qunoot? A. Qunoot-e-Naazilah is not Masnoon according to the Hanafi Math-hab. Make dua silently and alone for the Is- laah of the Ummah. The Qunoot they are reciting now is meaningless. It is just a lot of sound and fury signi- fying nothing. It is pure show and a mockery. The buffoons are making a mockery of ibaadat. The same is the atti- tude of buffoonery when they make Salaatul Istisqaa (for rain). Muslims have become adept in the art of show, pride and clowning. They are bereft of sincerity. They make mockeries and money out of the hardships and miseries of suffering segments of the Ummah. That is why they or- ganize all kinds of shows, haraam sports and functions ostensibly in support of Pales- tine, etc., when the actual (Continued on page 24) AL-HAQ BULLETIN 69 Page 24 motive is the boodle and self -aggrandizement. Q. Is it permissible to hang Palestinian flags in solidarity with the Palestinians? A. The flag-hanging act is nonsense and not permissible. Q. Some ulama arguing in favour of joining hands with Shiahs and even other kuffaar for political ends say that even Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (Rahmatullah alayh) had supported Mr. Jinnah and his Muslim league. Jinnah was a Shiah. How do we re- spond to this argument? He was the architect of Pakistan. Some say that he had aban- doned the Shiah religion. A. Briefly, the response for those who seek to justify sid- ing with Shiahs is to say that our criterion is the Shariah, not the opinion or decisions which circumstances dictated to the Akaabir Ulama a centu- ry ago. Hadhrat Thanvi‟s sup- port for the Muslim League headed by Mr. Jinnah is not a Shar‟i daleel. Thus, we shall examine a situation on the ba- sis of the Shariah, not in the light of the policies adopted by Ulama who were faced with their own peculiar cir- cumstances. Ulama who sidestep the Shariah and who cite the poli- cies and errors of senior Ula- ma are in fact morons. They suffer from the disease called Jahl-e-Muraqqab (Compound Ignorance). Nafsaaniyat trans- forms their smattering of knowledge into jahl. They are not in search of the Haqq. Al- lah Ta‟ala is furthest from their minds and their hearts are contaminated with worldly and nafsaani motives, hence they display their jahl reck- lessly. It is not expected of Ula- ma to base rulings on the poli- cies, especially political poli- cies, of the Akaabir who flour- ished decades ago. Ulama are expected to present Ilmi basis – Shar‟i dalaa-il – for all is- sues, expediencies and devel- opments. To gain Shar‟i force for an issue, Shar‟i daleel is the vital requisite, not the per- sonal opinions of seniors who are also prone to error. Rigid Taqleed is restricted to the Aimmah Mujtahideen of the Khairul Quroon era. Thereaf- ter, Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said “will come Kizb (falsehood) and Samaanah (fatness/obesity)”. Q. What is the status of the „global day fast‟ in solidarity with the Palestinians? A. The so-called mock „global day fast‟ is haraam. It is akin to shirk. It is the stu- pidity of juhala (ignoramuses). Q. Saudi Arabia has now ditched the Hijri calendar which was the only recog- nized calendar since the es- tablishment of the Islamic state of Saudi Arabia a centu- ry ago. Please comment on this change from the Islamic calendar to the kuffaar cal- endar. A. There is no reason for sur- prise. The Kufr regime of the Saudis has ditched and abro- gated the entire Shariah. The Shariah has been replaced with kuffaar law. The Saudi regime is an Agent of Iblees and the Bootlicker of Ameri- ca, hence the kuffaar calendar has been adopted. (Continued from page 23) In the initial phase of the Bat- tle of Uhd, the Sahaabah suf- fered a severe defeat. Com- menting on their surprise and dejection, Allah Ta‟ala re- vealed: “Whatever had befallen you the day when the two armies clashed, was by the de- cree of Allah…” (Aal Imraan, Aayat 166) Success and failure – defeat and victory, are by the decree of Allah Ta‟ala. While these circumstances are attributed to worldly and physical causes, the Actual Commander and Controller is Allah Azza Wa Jal. Thus, the genocide inflict- ed by Israel on the Muslims of Palestine is likewise the decree of Allah Azza Wal. “Whatever misfortune (calamity) befalls you is the consequence of the perpe- tration of your own hands.” (Qur‟aan)Was this page helpful?
