When making a bequest, is it permissible to have more than one beneficiary of the bequest as long as the total sum is not more than one third the estate?
Answer
A wasiyyat (bequest) may be made for any number of people who are not heirs. As long as the total amount is not more than one third the value of the estate, the many wasiyyats will be valid.
