Question
It is mentioned in a Hadith that near to Qiyaamah, it will be valid to refrain from marriage. Is it permissible not to get married?
Answer
If marriage becomes a threat for a man's Deen, then abstention will be best. This will be the situation close to Qiyaamah. Wives and children will become a man's enemies and threaten his very Imaan. The Qur'aan Majeed states: "Verily, some of your wives and children are your enemies. Therefore, beware of them!."
