A woman performed Umrah whilst in the state of haidh, Tawaaf and Sa-ee were performed in this state. Is her Umrah valid? What is the penalty?
Answer
Her Umrah is valid. However, two acts are Waajib – Dumm and repeating the Tawaaf only, not the Sa-ee. One goat/sheep should be slaughtered in the Haram and the meat be distributed to the poor.
