A husband wrote out a Talaaq Baa-in for his wife. Before handing her the letter, he destroyed it. What is the position of the Talaaq?
Answer
One Talaaq Baa-in came into force. Destruction of the letter does not cancel the Talaaq. The Nikah ended the moment he wrote the Talaaq. He can live with his ex-wife only after renewing the Nikah.
