When is it Iftaar time? Does Iftaar begin with the Maghrib Athaan?
Answer
Iftaar is the very moment the sun has set. When the upper circumference of the sun has disappeared from the horizon, then it is Iftaar time. Iftaar is not dependent on the Athaan.
