Question
Is it Waajib to perform two raka'ts Salaat in the area in Musjid Nabawi known as Raudhatul Jannat? What happens if one is unable to gain access to that area due to the crowds of people? Should Salaat there be performed before or after visiting the Holy Graves?
Answer
It is not incumbent to perform two raka'ts in the place called 'Roudhatul Jannah'. It is meritorious. If one is unable to perform Salaat there, perform anywhere. Salaat may be performed before or after visiting the Holy Graves.
