Is it valid according to the Maaliki Math-hab to pay Sadqah Fitr during Ramadhaan? Can the Fitrah be discharged with rice?
Answer
According to the Maaliki Math-hab, Fitrah may be paid two days before Eid, but not before two days. One Saa' ( 3.2 kg) rice may be given as Fitrah according to the Maaliki Math-hab.
