Question
The Haafiz who normally leads the Taraaweeh, arrived late and missed Isha' Jamaat. He performed Isha Fardh alone, then became the Imaam for Taraaweeh. What is the Shariah's ruling?
Answer
It was not permissible for this Haafiz to have led the Taraaweeh Salaat notwithstanding the validity of the Taraaweeh behind him. His act of leading the Taraaweeh was Makrooh Tahrimi.
