What is the status of Taraaweeh Salaat if the Imaam has to move around the microphone before going into Ruku' and also to avoid it when he rises into Qiyaam?
Answer
This action of the Imaam is excessive. It breaks and invalidates the Salaat. It also totally ruins the spirit which the musallis should have in Salaat. Instead of the Imaam's mind focussing on the Salaat, it is constantly preoccupied with the microphone.
