Question
In Taraaweeh Salaat after the first 2 raka'ts (i.e. of every set of 4 raka'ts), the musallis get up before the Imaam. What is the ruling on this?
Answer
After two raka'ts Taraaweeh there is no Sunnat act of ibaadat other than to immediately commence the next two raka'ts. It is permissible for the musallis to get up even before the Imaam. Immediately after the Salaam, the muqtadis should rise. There is no incumbency to wait until the Imaam has stood up.
