I had an argument with my wife. She walked out and returned to her parents home. She refuses to come back. Am I obliged to pay maintenance for her? I have not divorced her.
Answer
Your wife is presently not entitled to maintenance because she left the marital home of her own accord and without your permission. Furthermore, she refuses to return.
