Where is Muhassab situated?

Answer

Muhassab is on the outskirts of Makkah Muazzamah. It adjoins the Qabrustan (Jannatul Mualla). But the qabrustaan is not part of it. It is on the way to Mina between two mountains. Muhassab is also known as Abtah, Bat -ha and Hasbah. Today it is known as Ma-aabidah. According to one narration, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) performed Asr Salaat here on the occasion of Hajjatul Wida'. According to another narration, he pe-formed Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha'.
