Question
A Haafiz is unable to stand to perform Salaat. He sits on a chair. Can he be the Imaam for Taraaweeh Salaat?
Answer
While the disabled Hafez Saheb may sit and perform Taraaweeh, making Ruku' and Sajdah with signs, he may not lead others in Salaat. That is, he cannot become the Imaam.
