Answer
It is permissible to recite Surah Yaaseen 41 times for Isaa-e- Thawaab, etc. But it is not permissible to recite in congregation and to invite people to a gathering for this recitation. Recite alone at home. Any portion of the Qur'aan Majeed may be recited for Isaal-e-Thawaab. The customs in vogue pertaining to reciting Surah Yaaseen are bid'ah.
