The Muftis in Pakistan are giving fatwas of jawaaz (permissibility) for voting in the elections. Is it permissible for Muslims to vote in Pakistan's elections? All the candidates are modernists and zindeeqs.
Answer
We have studied the fatwas you have sent. The permissibility is stipulated with many valid conditions. Due to the situation in Pakistan, the fatwas are correct. Although the voting system is not Islamic, in the prevailing chaotic and anti-Islam scenario of Pakistan, the fatwa is valid.
