Question
What about Hajjaaj bin Yusuf and those who were involved in the Qatl of Hazrat Husain radhiyallahu anhu, the likes of Ubaidullah bin Ziyaad, Umar bin Sa'ad and Shimr bin Zee-Jo'shan? Can we make Dua-e-Maghfirat and send Eesaal e Sawaab for them? And what about cursing them like how some have done? It this permissible?

About Hajjaj Bin Yusuf, Hadhrat Hasan basri (Rahmatullah alayh) said: "Do not curse him, for he is Allah's punishment for you." Thus, we maintain silence and do not embark on futility. Why would one even think of acts of Isaal-e-Thawaab for those who had committed oppression? Cursing is stupid, futile and destructive.
