(4) Was the Uthmaani Khilaafah/ Ottoman Empire regarded as a valid Khilaafah according to Shariat?

Question

(4) Was the Uthmaani Khilaafah/ Ottoman Empire regarded as a valid Khilaafah according to Shariat?

Answer

While the Ottoman Khilaafate was a valid Khilaafate, it was not alaa minhaajin nubuwwah. It lacked the simplicity and the piety and the Maqaasid if the Aakhirah which conspicuously adorned the Khilaafate of the Khulafa-e-Raashideen. The same applies to the Banu Umayya and Banu Abbaas. The only Khilaafate of these dynasties which was alaa minhaajin nubuwwah was the Khilaafate of Hadhrat Umar Bin Abdul Aziz (Rahmatullah alayh).
