People generally ignore the Sunnat method of distributing the Qur’baani meat. They store the meat in freezers for the greater part of the year. Is this correct?
Answer
No, it is not correct. It is improper to discard the masnoon method of distribution. The meat should preferably be divided into three portions – one portion for one’s own use, one for relatives/friends and one for the poor. It is miserly to store the meat for months.
