How should the Aqeeqah meat be distributed?

The Aqeeqah meat should also be preferably divided into three parts as is the case with Qur'baani meat: one part for the poor, one part for relatives/friends and one part for oneself. However, this is not incumbent. It is permissible to divide and distribute it in any way you wish.
