The divorced woman of her own accord left home to pass the Iddat at the home of her parents. Can she still demand maintenance?
Answer
If she had left of her own accord without valid reason, then she is not entitled for maintenance. It is Waajib to be in the marital home for the entire duration of the Iddat.
