Is khula' a right which the wife has? Can she demand khula'?
Answer
Khula' is a mutual voluntary agreement between a husband and wife. To obtain Talaaq she pays back the mahr to her husband and he issues Talaaq. But Khula' cannot be imposed on any party. It is a voluntary agreement.
