A man's shop burnt down about 10 years ago. Some stock was salvaged and kept in a storeroom. He did not bother to sell it for 10 years. What is the state of Zakaat on the stock?
Answer
If his niyyat remained to sell the stock, then he has to pay Zakaat on the stock for the past 10 years.
