A husband has had affairs zina affairs with multiple women. Now his wife refuses to have conjugal relations with him. She insists that he should go for medical testing and that there be a waiting period of six months. Can she do so? Is it permissible?
Answer
Since there is fear of the man having contracted some filthy zina disease as a consequence of his zina relationships with lewd women, the wife may request that he be tested. The 6 month abstention from conjugal relations is a valid demand.
