My husband does not allow me to visit my parents. Is it not my right to visit them occasionally?

Yes, it is your right. However, notwithstanding this right, it is not permissible to disobey your husband. While he is sinful for forbidding you without valid reason, it nevertheless remains waajib for you to obey him and not to visit your parents.
