After giving birth the husband takes offence if her mother takes care of her. The husband does not allow his wife to stay a few days with her mother. If there is no one to care for her immediately after birth, can she stay at her mother‟s place?

Yes, she may stay at her mother‟s place. The husband is wrong and unjust for refusing permission.
