A man wants to take his wife to another country to stay there for a year or two. The wife and her parents refuse because of strife and anarchy nowadays prevailing in most places. Can the husband override the wishes of his wife and her parents in this case?
Answer
No, he may not do so. He may not compel his wife to go on the contemplated journey and to stay in a foreign country. In the present climate of fitnah and fasaad there is more emphasis on the prohibition.
