Question
A man does not have the Nisaab of Zakaat. However, he lives a comfortable life. He also has a television. Is it permissible to give him Zakaat?
Answer
It is haraam to give Zakaat to the person who owns a haraam television. Zakaat is the right of the Fuqara.
