Question
We recite the Qur‟aan Majeed as Isaal-e-Thawaab for a number of deceased. Does the reciter also receive the reward of the recitation? Is the amount of Tilaawat split and distributed to the many deceased or does each one receive the full reward of the recitation?
Answer
There is no dearth of thawaab in the Treasury of Allah Ta'ala. The reciter receives the reward of the amount of his Tilaawat and so does each mayyit receive the full reward.
