Question

The UK delegation who visited Saudi Arabia to investigate how they sight the moon over there, explained what they witnessed during the alleged moonsighting conducted in Saudia. Their report describes the total sham that the Saudi government has perpetrated on the ummat. So if this report is to be believed then it is clear that Hajj began one day early this year. The question is what should the people who are currently at Hajj do before they complete their Hajj rites as a precautionary action?

Answer

There is no secret regarding the fraudulent moonsighting claims and announcements of the Saudi regime. The Saudi regime does not believe in moonsighting. They simply deceive Muslims with their claims of having sighted the moon when in fact the moon was not sighted.

Regarding your query, according to the Shariah, the people performing Hajj have no option but to follow the decree of the regime in power. Their Hajj will be valid and the sin will be on the villains who have perpetrated the fraud.
