Is there a minimum age for animals before slaughtering them?
Answer
There is no age restriction regarding animals slaughtered for normal consumption. The restriction applies to only Qur'baani and Aqeeqah animals. A goat/ sheep has to be at least one year, and a cow/bull 2 years.
