I have only one kruger gold coin. I have no other Zakaat assets. The weight of the coin is less than Nisaab. Is Zakaat payable on this one coin?
Answer
In view of the value of the gold coin being far in excess of the Zakaat Nisaab in vogue, Zakaat should be paid.
