Is it permissible to perform Nikah in secret? The man is married. The second wife gives up her rights and so does the husband. They will not make mutual demands for their rights. It is necessary to keep the marriage secret to avoid the man‟s marriage breaking down. Please advise.
Answer
While the Nikah, if performed correctly, will be valid even in secret, remember that it will not remain a secret for too long. Be assured of this. When the secret is exploded, the storm in his home will erupt.
