My wife wastes much time in embellishing the house. She likes decorations. I discourage her from doing this. Please advise.
Answer
Leave your wife to keep herself busy with the decorations as long as these are not haraam. It is permissible to adorn the home. It is not in conflict with simplicity for her to engage in what she is doing. Do not be unreasonable with her. Keep your wife happy. Allah Ta'ala will then grant barkat in your Rizq.
