My deceased father had bequeathed one property to his daughter (my sister). Is this bequest permissible?
Answer
The bequest by your parents of one property to their daughter is not valid. A bequest for an heir is not valid. The said property is inherited by all the heirs in proportion to their shares of Inheritance.
