I work for a charity Foundation handling mainly Zakaat funds. Can we pay our overhead running expenses from the Zakaat?
Answer
Zakaat may not be used for the overhead expenses of the Foundation. Lillah funds have to be used for this purpose. Zakaat will not be discharged.
