A Hanafi Imaam led the Janaazah Salaat of an Aalim who had died elsewhere. The mayyit was not present. Is this permissible for Hanafis?
Answer
It is not permissible for Hanafis to participate in Janaazah Alal Ghaib. The Hanafi Imaam who had led this Janaazah Salaat besides being a moron, makes a mockery of the Deen.
