Question
My husband had not informed me of the serious sexual malady he was suffering from since before marriage. I discovered this the very next day after the Nikah. Was the nikah valid?
Answer
While the nikah was valid, if the husband had concealed his serious physical maladies prior to marriage, then the wife can apply to the local Ulama Council for annulment of the Nikah. If she is not prepared to continue with the marriage, she should ask him to issue Talaaq.
