I have many qadha fasts. Can I compensate by paying Fidyah?

Only extremely old and sick persons who are unable to fast have to pay Fidyah. As long as you are able to fast, it remains compulsory to fast. Begin with the Name of Allah Ta'ala to discharge your qadha obligation. You have no option but to fast. Begin before Maut claims you.
