If after Umrah one visits Taaif then return to Makkah, should Umrah be performed?

Part of Taaif is beyond the Miqaat. Those who visit Taaif and traverse into the section beyond the Miqaat will have to don Ihraam and perform Umrah if they return to Makkah. They have to enquire locally of the Miqaat at Taaif.
