Is a murdered person forgiven all sins?

Whether the murdered person has been forgiven, is known to only Allah Ta'ala. Sometimes, a 'shaheed' - the one who was killed in the battlefield - is also not forgiven. This depends on his intention for participating in Jihad. While we say in general that the Shaheed is forgiven all his sins, this depends on whether he was genuine.
