What is the Sunnah regarding recitation of Takbeer during the Days of Tashreeq?

Question

What is the Sunnah regarding recitation of Takbeer during the Days of Tashreeq? Should the Takbeer be recited together with the Imaam in one voice?

Answer

During the Days of Tashreeq (9, 10, 11, 12 and 13th Zil Hajj), it is Sunnah for all musallis – the Imaam as well as the Muqtadis – to recite Takbeer Tashreeq once aloud after every Fardh Salaat. The musallis should not wait for the Imaam to begin the Takbeer. They should recite immediately after the Imaam has made the Salaam of the Salaat.

On the way to the Eidgah, on the Day of Eidul Adha, everyone should recite the Takbeer audibly, not in congregational form with one voice. Everyone should engage in his own Takbeer audibly until the Eidgah. On reaching the Eidgah, they should terminate their audible recitation.
