Question
Whilst leading the Salaat in Maghrib, I forgot to recite Surah Faatihah aloud. After three aayats, I remembered. What should I have done? Should Surah Faatihah be repeated aloud from the beginning or should one continue aloud from the aayat one remembers, and make Sajdah Sahw?
Answer
Even if one aayat of Surah Faatihah is recited silently by mistake in a Jahri Salaat in Jamaat, then the aayat/s recited silently should be repeated audibly, and Sajdah Sahw be made.
