Question
A woman has to leave Makkah without making Umrah. What should she do about the Umrah?
Answer
If circumstances compel the woman to leave Makkah without having made Umrah, then it is necessary to come out of Ihraam by means of Thabah. One sheep/ goat has to be compulsorily slaughtered in the Haram. After the Thabah, she will be out of Ihraam. Then it is Waajib for her to make Qadha of the Umrah. This she may do at any time.
