A woman was given Talaaq during her nifaas period. What is her Iddat? A scholar said that the Talaaq in nifaas is not valid.
Answer
The 'scholar' is a moron. The Talaaq issued during the state of nifaas is valid. This woman's Iddat will be three haidh periods after nifaas has ended.
