When does the iddat of Talaaq commence?

The Iddat begins from the very moment the Talaaq is uttered or written, and it lasts for three full haidh periods. A partial haidh period is not taken into account. For example, if the husband issued Talaaq during the haidh period, then the current haidh period is discounted. Her Iddat will be a full three haidh periods.
