If Mahr is not paid, will the Nikah be valid?
Answer
Mahr is Waajiib. It is the right of the woman. It is Waajib to pay Mahr. However, Mahr is not a condition for the validity of the Nikah. While the Nikah is valid without Mahr, the Mahr remains Waajib.
