While in Ihraam I washed my hands on two different days with scented soap. Do I have to pay a penalty?
Answer
If the soap was scented/ perfumed, then you are liable for the dumm penalty. If on the two different occasions scented soap was used to wash the hands, then two dumm are compulsory. Two goats/sheep have to be sacrificed in the Haram area. If the soap was not scented, then there is no penalty.
