When is Sadqah Fitr incumbent?
Answer
Sadqah Fitr is obligatory on only those who possess the Zakaat Nisaab amount on the Day of Eidul Fitr. The Nisaab amount is the price of 612 grams/19.6 ounces of silver. Whoever has this amount has to pay Sadqah Fitr which is the price of 2 kilograms of flour. This Sadqah must be given to only poor Muslims.
